F and L met F's junior year of college. L moved into her house and although L was dating one of her roommates, F knew instantly that at one point or another they would be together. After more than a year of being best friends, F and L declared their attraction to each other and the rest was history.

Starting as friends and then falling in love, F and L shared a romance unlike anything else. They complimented each other in an uncanny way and shared a connection unlike anything either had experienced before. The relationship was perfect but as time went on too many break ups, too many differences, too many similarities, too many fights and too much distance ultimately tore them apart. Both F and L finally ended the relationship for good saying that although they loved each other they were no longer in love. They wished each other well and both promised that they would stay friends no matter what.
    
    L will be remembered for his personality, his smile, the way he looked at F and saw her soul, his ability to make her laugh, and the way they could talk about anything for hours at a time.

L and F will be remembered as the couple that everyone watched fall in love. A couple who started as friends and who fell in love at a time when they both were young and open. A couple who had fun together no matter what and two people who looked at the world through the same lens. A couple who shared laughs, hopes and dreams, and a couple who, although they tried their hardest, ultimately fell apart because life got in the way.

    The survivors of the relationship are their friends who stood by F and L through everything. F and L also leave behind a strong connection that will never waiver and a friendship that although is not practiced often, is there for the rest of their lives. Both F and L leave a soft spot in their heart for each other and wish each other nothing but the best. Both look forward to their souls crossing paths again.
