build a bridge
Winter and Autumn
06Sep2008 thru 24Apr2009

Distance and third party
Autumn and Winter had known each other for two years before they got together. Both middle aged, her at the tail end of a divorce, him never been married. She loved everything about him and was going through a hard time. He was cruising happily into middle age. She saw him as a long awaited breath of fresh air, and being in his company was priceless, anything else was a bonus.
They met when he visited her home town on holiday. They spent precious time together, with her visiting him at his home which was quite some distance away. They had the same interests, and to all around it looked like a match made in heaven.
He will be remembered for his kindness, his good company, his show of affection and his great sense of adventure.
He will be missed the most for his smile, his eyes, his touch, his hugs, his love.
His snoring will not be missed!
If she never saw him again she would feel a great sense of sadness for the rest of her life, but also treasure the happy memories of being close to him and the feeling of pure love for him that will stay with her for ever.
She was greatly disappointed in the way it ended. Too many questions left unanswered. Too many tormented days and nights of thoughts and what ifs in her mind.
They survive, they lived and learned. She builds a bridge.
    a bad goodbye
